The junior class of the CRHS National Honor Society hosted a Food Drive for blessing box food pantries in our area. Almost 200 food items were donated! Students were able to stock eight different pantries for over 3 weeks! #ColonelTOUGH

This Saturday at 9:00 AM on the Colonel campus is the 3rd annual 5K Color Fun Run (& Walk!) hosted by the Wellness Committee and the senior class of the National Honor Society! All proceeds go to the Lucas Nagel Memorial Fund.

Congratulations to senior Takaila Rich for being chosen as a recipient of the CCPS Education Scholarship! Takaila will be attending Morgan State University to major in elementary education. Ms. Kay (as she's called by her students) plans to return to Caroline County Public Schools to teach grades 3-5! Thank you to Ms. McNeil for being her mentor! #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

Senior TJ Wenger led the team with three hits, including a double, while juniors Jack Walls and Derrick Mitchell each had multiple hits. Walls and sophomore John Beaven combined for the win on the mound. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

In his position as a Maryland Business Roundtable for Education Student Ambassador, junior Manny Fletcher presented to sixth and seventh grade STEM classes at Colonel Richardson Middle School about understanding STEM in their daily lives! The students participated in the classic spaghetti tower challenge in which they had to build the tallest freestanding tower with a marshmallow on top. This activity emphasized teamwork, communication, creativity, and a deeper understanding of STEM education. By the end of the lesson, students gained a comprehensive understanding of how STEM is integrated into everything around us in a fun, educational way! #ColonelTOUGH
