Congratulations to the South Caroline Youth Basketball team for winning the championship at the Slam Dunk at OC tournament! This team features rising seniors Ma'Kiah Batson, Robbie Cunningham, Ca'vin Wilcox, and Max Zapata Otalvaro and rising juniors LeShaun Allen, Jayden Butler-Taylor, and Ja'Zir Dickerson. Rising seniors Ava Andrew, Aiyanna Groce, and Blaiden Roe represented Choptank Electric Cooperative as delegates for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, DC! They spent the week representing Choptank Electric with other student leaders, meeting US Representatives and Senators, learning about rural electric, and much more. #ColonelTOUGH #classof2025

Congratulations to juniors Lukas Stoltz and Jakob Stoltz for participating in our Fire Fighter and Emergency Medical Responder program this year! Through a partnership with the Maryland Rescue and Fire Institute in Centreville, Lukas and Jakob took courses to earn high school credit. They completed fire fighter, fire company operations, hazard materials operations, and emergency medical responder courses through this program. They are both members of the Denton Volunteer Fire Company. #ColonelTOUGH
