Mr. Shelly's PLTW Biomedical Sciences program visited R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore City! There they heard from a crash survivor of shock trauma, took a tour, and got to participate in a training simulation. After lunch, they visited the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems to see the organization of the medical evacuation coordination of the state's helicopters units.
