Our CRHS volleyball teams participated in Caroline Digs Pink with NCHS volleyball to raise money for The Side-Out Foundation and the family of Hannah Gevauden, a Federalsburg Elementary School teacher who recently lost her battle with breast cancer. Ms. Kinlock's Theater Arts class participated in their first Shore Shakespeare workshop of the year! Students watched as actors from the Shore Shakespeare company brought a scene from The Taming of the Shrew from page to stage. Greg Minahan from Shore Shakespeare led a lesson on how to use the text to create character. Students then practiced rehearsal technique by learning one of the beats from the scene with a partner. Students will be working through this semester on using movement, voice, facial expression, and staging to create character and highlight the humor in scenes from Shakespeare's comedies. #ColonelTOUGH
